Kia ora koutou

Well after a lot of sorting and a few unfortunate details we have now confirmed our trip.  We will now be heading to Te Manawa on Tuesday 20th November at 9.30am.  While there we will be taking part in their ‘Day of Curiosity’, these will be 3 rotations focussing on  art, science and history.  At 1.15 we will head to the Esplanade for lunch, a play and a bit of exploring.  We will then head back to school in time for the end of day bell.

We will be needing parent support on this trip so if you are able to attend that would be fantastic, please email me and let me know.

I also want to check that everyone is aware that term 4 is a sunhat term, students must have a hat if they want to be outside.  With athletics coming up and current practices it is vital that your child has a hat at school.  There are a large number of our class who are claiming they do not have a hat, if your child needs a new one, they can be purchased from the school office for $10 if it is an older style or $15 for the newer ones.  With days like today we want everyone to be out enjoying the sunshine.

Thanks for your ongoing support.
