Kia ora Koutou

It has been a great first week back at school, we needed to have a few reminders about expected behaviour, but didn’t take long before we were back on track.  This term is filled with some exciting activities, we are currently getting ready for athletics day which is in week 5, Wednesday 14th of November.  We have our practices on Mondays and Fridays.  We also get out for other forms of physical activity each day during the week, so suitable clothing and footwear is helpful.

We are in the process of organising a trip for later in the term, the date is yet to be confirmed but we are hoping to be heading to Nga Manu Reserve in Waikanae, in week 6 some time.  More information about this will come home soon and hopefully some of you will be able to join us.

The students are taking on some of the responsibility for some of our class organisation this term, there is a chance they may discuss activities, ideas or even items they may need with you, please feel free to email me or pop in and see me if you need to.

Hopefully this lovely weather hangs around for the long weekend and you are all able to get outside and spend some awesome family time together.  Please remember that RSS is closed for both MONDAY and TUESDAY next week.

I look forward to hearing all about the weekends adventures and catching up with the kids on Wednesday.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
