Kia ora koutou,

I was excited to receive an email today from the organiser of the S+ART Art Competition saying all pieces had now been judged!  All work will be transported to the Barber Hall on Waldergrave Street, and is open for viewing this weekend:

  • Saturday 4th August, 10am to 4pm
  • Sunday 5th August, 10am to 12pm

This Saturday is the prize giving and it is important that we have a representative from each group there in case of a placing.  It is not limited to just one representative – the more the merrier!  It would be awesome to see as many students and whānau as possible there on the night.

Where: Huia Centre, Palmerston North Girls’ High

When: Saturday, 4th August – doors opening at 6:30pm

I will also be heading down to the prize giving, so it would be awesome to all try and sit in a similar area. I will keep a lookout for familiar faces!

Also, just a quick note about Douglas Park on Wednesday

Your child would have come home today with their uniform top (to be worn on Wednesday).  They are to wear their own black or blue shorts with their tops to complete their uniform.  It would be a great idea to ensure they have a change of clothes in their bags for after playing their sport (it could get muddy!).

If you are able, please feel welcome to come down and support your child in their game on the day!

Many thanks,
