Kia ora whānau,

Just a few notes before the big day.  It is getting very exciting now!

On Thursday we will be leaving school at 9am to head to the Regent for our full school dress rehearsal.  Please can you ensure that your child has a water bottle and a good lunch to last them through the day. We will return to school about 2.30pm.

On Thursday evening, can we please have children delivered to the Green Door on King Street between 5.00 and 5.30pm.  Please could you send them with a jumper that is easy to take on and off as it may be chilly in the dressing rooms. They may also bring a book or a small game (not a device) to keep them amused during the day rehearsal and the evening performance.

Costume notes:

Boys

  • No makeup is required
  • Hair can be in a ‘slicked back’ style (in keeping with the 60’s) or just normal
  • They will need to come dressed in their black trousers, collared shirt and appropriate shoes.

Girls

  • No makeup is required
  • Hair can be in a high ponytail or anything reminiscent of the era
  • They will need to be dressed in their appropriate shoes and black or white t-shirt (not sure if we are using these yet as we have now been given dresses to wear but we may need to wear them underneath the dress).

Any questions, just sing out.

Thanks so much for your cooperation and we hope that you enjoy the show.
