Wow, what a full and exciting week it has been! We were fortunate to welcome Courteney, a Massey University Student, into The Hive this week, we celebrated Cross Country on Wednesday, explored Samoan culture and language through Samoan Language Week, and the wearable arts designs have been developing as the teams co-construct their final designs. We are now in the feedback gathering part of the process, as well as beginning to gather our resources. Being a long weekend, I thought we could take this opportunity to begin collecting the recyclable resources for the projects. We would be so grateful if you could collect any of the following and send it into school with your child on Tuesday so we can do a ‘stocktake’ of what we have and what we still require. Thank you in advance for your support in this! Please find the list below:
- Clear plastic cups
- 1.5L plastic bottles (e.g. coca-cola)
- Milk bottles
- Milk bottle tabs (the little circle bit you pull off the top of the milk bottle when you first open it)
- Plastic spoons
- Large chippie packets
- Drink can tabs (the bit you pull up to open a can)
Wishing you all a safe and happy Queen’s Birthday Weekend! If you are travelling out of town, have a safe journey.
See everyone on Tuesday!
