Mōrena Pounamu whānau,
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
Today’s Te Reo kīwaha/phrase is: Horoia ō ringaringa – Wash your hands. A bit timely for right now! Below is a helpful little infographic I found on the NBA’s Instagram page which is a handy reminder of all the small yet important things we all need to be doing to look after ourselves and each other.
Wiki 8 Pānui:
- Please read Troy’s Leadership Pānui for the week which he posted on Friday. It’s packed with info and all you need to know about RSS.
- Learning Conferences are being held in Week 11 on Tuesday 7th April and Wednesday 8th April. Click here to book. Please note that school will close early at 12.30pm on Tuesday 7th April so that conferences can begin.
- Our Swimming Showcase will be in Week 9 on Tuesday 24th March from 1.30pm. You are more than welcome to attend this to cheer on our learners as we celebrate the water confidence mahi we’ve been doing this term.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I’ll see you all āpōpō/tomorrow.
This is the only photo I took from my two days in class last week – and I love it. Lots of our tamariki sat together outside to do their mahi after lunch. Don’t worry, after taking this pic we all went and put our hats on! Ka pai Momo for remembering without being prompted :-)
