On Friday we held the Raffle for a Ride draw and 25 lucky tamariki found out they are coming to school in style this coming Friday the 23rd of November.
A confirmation letter will go home this week with the finer details. All of the drivers have your address and contact details and may be in touch with you closer to the time (They are all busy people, so may not have a chance to message you)
On the day, Parents and Whānau are more than welcome to come up and enjoy the morning. The 8.30am bell will signal for students to go to class and do the roll with their teacher and then make their way down to the front courts. We would appreciate you getting your children to school a little earlier on this day if possible, as the cars will start coming up the driveway and this obstructs the entrance ways from 9am.
All students will be seated in the grandstand watching the rides all come in and drop the kids off. Once all 25 have arrived and the cars have stopped moving and parked up, children and parents are free take a look at all the vehicles (bearing in mind some of these cars are extremely rare and valuable, so that may be up to the owners discretion). Praying for some great weather and I’m sure this event will be one that gets stored in the memory banks for years to come.
