Kia ora koutou,

Yesterday I received an email about an awesome initiative run by a group of parents in Palmerston North.  I shared it with my class and said that I would send out the link to the resources.

You may have heard of the Palmy Rocks Challenge (where you hunt for painted rocks around Palmy) or the Passport to Play Challenge.  They have now just released a new, fun and exciting initiative called the Dirty 30 Challenge – where there are 30 outdoor challenges that kids (and adults – I’ll be trying to get some ticked off the list these holidays!) can complete and tick off the list.  The challenges can be completed over the autumn and winter months – so there is no rush to complete them all in the term break!  It is not compulsory, but simply some fun ways to get out and about in our local environment.

If you would like more information and the challenge sheet, you can find it on their website:

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy break,

Steph
