Kia ora Pīwakawaka whānau,

What an awesome term we have had, full of learning, rekareka (fun), and loads of new experiences for our tamariki. We’ve had many highlights including Cross Country, Matariki Art day, and Shorts for Hospice to name a few. I just have a couple of notices to share with you as we end the term.

  • Mid-Year Reports went home today. They can be found in the depths of your child’s book bag so please hunt it out!
  • Learning Conference bookings are open. These will take place on Wednesday and Thursday of Week 1, Term 3. Instructions for how to book these and more information can be found by clicking herePlease note, school closes at 12.30pm on Wednesday, July 25.
  • Niho Taniwha (our block of classrooms) is on Assembly in Week 3 of Term 3. Just in case you want to pencil it into your diary so that you can join us, Assembly will begin at 2.20pm. This is different to the starting time of 1.50pm which we’ve had in Term 2.

That’s it from me for now! Thanks to you all for making Term 2 an awesome term. It’s such a privilege for me to spend my days with your beautiful tamariki! I absolutely love coming to school each day and that’s hugely because of you and your amazing kids. Ngā mihi!

Hopefully you all get to enjoy some whānau time over the next fortnight and I’m looking forward to catching up on Monday, July 23rd for the start of another busy term in Pīwakawaka.
