Kia ora koutou,
Wow! What a full and dynamic term we have had! It has been an exciting one full of various celebrations and events. I must say a highlight was seeing everyone give the best effort during cross country, as well as watching everyone ooze their creativity and develop their collaboration and communication skills through the Wearable Arts project.
On that note, I delivered the beautiful masterpieces down to PNGHS for judging this afternoon. Once they have been judged, they will be transported and placed on display for the Manawatū Science Fair Exhibition Weekend at Barber Hall on Waldergrave Street. This is from 2-5th August and placings will be announced at the prize giving evening on Saturday 4th August. You are welcome to go and view all the art and science projects during this time. Exciting!
I hope you all received your child’s school report yesterday afternoon. I am looking forward to touching base with you all in week one (Wednesday and Thursday) for our learning conferences, where we can celebrate your child’s success and set learning and dispositional goals for the remainder of the year. I really value these opportunities to connect; please be sure to hop onto the link and book your spot!
That’s it from me! Wishing you all a very safe and happy holiday break. If you are travelling out of the region, safe travels!
